Working for a construction company during his high school years, Stephen Katchmark noticed how many construction companies cut corners by using cheaper material and performing work carelessly. He didn't agree with the way these companies took advantage of clients, and he knew that many problems could be avoided by performing quality work the first time around.

When he started his own company in 1988, Steve made the decision to use only superior products and meticulous quality. Katchmark Construction became one of the first remodeling companies to stand behind its work with a 10 year warranty on all material and workmanship. Since then, Katchmark has grown from a small business out of Steve's home to a large, multi-million dollar corporation with a large office right off of route 50.

Though the company has grown in size, Steve's values remain the same. Katchmark takes great pride in customer service- no job is complete until complete customer satisfaction is achieved. It's no surprise that 60% of Katchmark's clientele are still referral-based.

I am the oldest son of Katchmark's founder and president. I started from the ground up by pushing a broom and picking up nails in the warehouse during the long summer days of high school. I learned everything I know about the company at the dinner table. Three years later, I'm a full-time salesman, and enjoy every part of the family business; most importantly I enjoy helping you, the customer. I am confident that Katchmark Construction can conquer any project you set in front of us.

I started at Katchmark picking up trash as my brother, Stephen, installed replacement roofs. Throughout the years I worked my way up to installer, then I moved into the office as project manager and then I was able to get out and meet our customers through outside sales. I am now in commercial sales and lend a hand anywhere I'm needed. I am fortunate to have had the chance to see Katchmark grow from a three man operation to the business it is now. The most amazing thing is that the hard work, commitment to quality, and dedication we started with is still the core of our business. I am proud to see where we have come from and look forward to see where we are going.

I am a single father of two wonderful kids: Zachary and Kaelei. Everything I do revolves around them and their well-being. Working in the home improvement industry for 18 years has taught me a lot about people and life itself. Each day we interact with homeowners, business owners and government employees and the relationship that ensues is priceless. Being relatively new to Katchmark, I've worked with some amazing people, both within the company and outside with our customers. Here at Katchmark everyone cares. That is a unique quality for a company of any kind. After 21 years in business, Katchmark still cares. I am extremely happy to be a part of a company that wants, is willing and is able to serve and satisfy all customers. It's a great feeling to pass a customer's project to the next department and know everything is going to go as the customer had hoped. I look forward to bringing new customers into the Katchmark fold of hassle-free satisfaction.

I have been working in the roofing and construction field for the past 15 years. This has given me the experience and knowledge to better understand and help homeowners with their needs and concerns on different home projects. As a salesman and member of the Katchmark team, our goal is to provide the best service and quality products to homeowners. Katchmark Construction provides satisfaction to all of our customers.

I have been in the construction industry for many years. Two of my older brothers had construction companies. I started swinging a hammer when I was only 13-years old working summers for my brothers. I built houses along the water in Florida for about 14 years. Then I moved to Virginia and learned roofing from remodeling and addition jobs. I started working with Katchmark in 2000. This is simply the best job I've ever had and I work with the best people. Everyone here agrees. But this is not just a great thing for us but it is also good for our customers because everyone here takes pride in the work they do. We take a team-centered approach to your projects. Some people may get lucky one day and have a job as good as mine, but they'll never have one better.

I was born in Washington, DC and have also lived in Georgia, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and Hawaii. I am an avid motorsports enthusiast, and have raced cars and motorcycles, on-track and off-road. I love the outdoors, and enjoy camping, hiking, and traveling. I have visited Europe, Ireland, England, Amsterdam, Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico. As a roofing specialist, I am also well versed in entry door systems, windows, and all types of siding. I have been in the industry since 1992. I joined the Katchmark team in 1999 and have thoroughly enjoyed being part of a company that cares so much about its clients.

Tod is our commercial and government sales engineer. With his most prevalent strength being his engineering and architecture background, Tod has also experience with property management and consulting. After years of working with property managers as a building consultant he worked as a project manager on 10,000 to 15,000 sq' custom homes in Mclean VA.
